Description:
A simple cross-stitch pattern suitable for novices and youngsters, (for the latter, preferably with some help from an adult or capable stitcher), this downloadable PDF file includes a simple chart with colour key to create a single design or border strip of folk style houses in yellow, red and green.

The chart includes a DMC colour chart, but of course you can use any brand of embroidery floss, perhaps already available in your own stash at home.

Once you have completed your work, you can use it in various ways — as a wall hanging, as a border for tea-towels or bath linen, table runners or for items of clothing. Please note that you can lengthen the pattern or just use single units of it according to your sewing project. This is a continuous pattern for extended lengths of braid if you wish.
